Kamila Rymajdo was born in Warsaw but has spent most of her life living in Manchester. She is currently i-D’s Northern Correspondent, writing about music and popular culture. Kamila also contributes to other magazines including Mixmag, Dazed, Vice, FACT and Interview Magazine and previously worked as the Music Editor at The Skinny North. In 2017, she completed a Creative Writing PhD at Kingston University and has published academic articles on Bret Easton Ellis, grime and clubbing. For five years, she has been running Witch*unt, which was described by the Manchester Evening News as ‘the most exciting club night of 2014.’ Since then, her club night has collaborated with Manchester’s Queer Contact Festival, Salford’s Sound From The Other City and also with Reform Radio, as a biweekly music and talk show.
