Leaders in Residence

The Leaders in Residence are a high calibre, effective network of individuals, providing the University with influential connections with a breadth of experience and specialist knowledge.

Staff nominate prospective Leaders in Residence annually, and following a shortlisting process, the Executive Dean invites them to join the network.

The tenure is for a period of three years and the Executive Dean reviews contributions on an annual basis.

As part of the Faculty’s Industry Advisory Board, the Leaders in Residence contribute through:

  • Enhancing the student experience
  • Being excellent role models for young people from diverse backgrounds
  • Exercising their influence through advising on curriculum relevant to industry
  • Contributing to the teaching and learning of students in a variety of ways: guest lectures, mentoring, masterclasses, attending employability events
  • Working with our academic staff to contribute to research projects
